Tasks
Assign work to your team, set due dates, and never lose track of follow-ups — every task is tied to the lead or referral it belongs to.
Tasks are the to-dos that keep intake and referrals moving. They're attached to leads and referrals, assigned to specific team members, and surfaced everywhere they're relevant — your dashboard, the lead detail page, and the standalone Tasks page.
What you can do
- Create a task from anywhere — the lead detail page, the referral detail page, or the Tasks page itself.
- Assign to a teammate — either a specific person or to whoever owns the lead.
- Set a due date — get reminders before tasks slip past their deadline.
- Mark complete — completed tasks stay on the timeline as a record of what got done.
- Filter your queue — see "tasks for me", "tasks due today", "overdue tasks", or any custom filter you build.
Where tasks come from
Tasks can be created three ways:
- Manually — by anyone on your team, on any lead or referral.
- From a template — common task lists (e.g. "Intake checklist") can be applied in one click.
- From an automation — a status change or any trigger can auto-create tasks (see Automations).
Notifications
You're notified when:
- A task is assigned to you.
- A task you own is approaching its due date.
- A task on a lead you watch is completed.
Notification preferences live under Settings → Notifications.
Next steps
- Lead pipeline — set up automations that auto-create tasks at each pipeline stage.
