Fee Rate Hierarchy
When creating a referral, VerdictFlow determines the fee percentage using this priority order:
- Partner + Case Type rate (most specific) - If you've set a rate for this specific partner AND case type
- Partner default rate - If you've set a default rate for this partner
- Account default rate - Your firm's global default
- System default - 33% if nothing else is configured
Example
- Your account default: 33%
- Partner "Smith Law" default: 35%
- Partner "Smith Law" for Personal Injury: 40%
When referring a PI case to Smith Law → 40% is used automatically.
