Searching & Filtering Leads
Find the leads you need quickly with powerful search and filter options.
VerdictFlow provides robust search and filtering capabilities to help you find leads quickly, even in large databases.
Global Search
The search bar at the top of the Leads page searches across multiple fields:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company name
- City
Using Search
- Click the search bar (or press
/to focus) - Type your search term
- Results update as you type
- Press Enter or click a result
Filter Panel
Access advanced filters by clicking the Filter button next to the search bar.
Available Filters
| Filter | Options | Description |

| Status | New, In Review, Qualified, Ready for Referral, Referred, Retained, Closed | Pipeline stage |
| Case Type | Your configured case types | Practice area |
| Lead Source | Website, HubSpot, Referral, Form, Manual, etc. | Origin of the lead |
| Assigned To | Team members | Who owns the lead |
| Created Date | Date range picker | When the lead was added |
| Priority | High, Medium, Low | Lead priority level |
Applying Filters
- Click Filter to open the panel
- Select your filter criteria
- Filters apply immediately
- Active filters show as badges
Combining Filters
Filters work together with AND logic:
- Status = "Qualified" AND Case Type = "Personal Injury"
- Shows only qualified personal injury leads
Clearing Filters
- Click X on individual filter badges to remove one
- Click Clear All to reset all filters
Active Filter Badges
When filters are active, badges appear below the search bar showing:
- Which filters are applied
- How many leads match (e.g., "Showing 24 of 156 leads")
Date Range Filtering
The date filter offers presets and custom ranges:
Presets
- Today
- Yesterday
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last 90 days
- This year
Custom Range
- Click Custom in the date filter
- Select start date
- Select end date
- Click Apply
Sorting Results
In table view, click column headers to sort:
- Click once for ascending (A-Z, oldest first)
- Click again for descending (Z-A, newest first)
- Arrow indicator shows current sort direction
Multi-Column Sort
Hold Shift and click additional columns to add secondary sort criteria.
Saving Filter Views
Save frequently-used filter combinations:
- Apply your desired filters
- Click Save View
- Name your view (e.g., "Hot PI Leads")
- Access saved views from the dropdown
Managing Saved Views
- Edit - Update filter criteria
- Rename - Change the view name
- Delete - Remove the saved view
Saved views are personal to your account.
Filtering in Kanban View
Filters work in Kanban view too:
- Same filter panel and options
- Filters apply across all columns
- Lead counts update to reflect filtered results
Search Tips
Find Specific Leads
- Search by email domain: "@lawfirm.com"
- Search by area code: "212" (finds phone numbers)
- Search by city: "Los Angeles"
Common Searches

Results Count
The results counter shows:
- Filtered count - Leads matching current filters
- Total count - All leads in your account
Example: "Showing 24 of 156 leads"
