Creating Agreement Templates

Design reusable fee sharing agreement templates with the template editor.

Agreement templates save time by pre-defining your standard fee sharing language. When you send a referral, the template auto-populates with the specific details.

Accessing Templates

  1. Navigate to Agreements in the sidebar
  2. Click the Templates tab
  3. View your existing templates or create new ones

Creating a New Template

Step 1: Start a New Template

  1. Click + New Template
  2. Enter a template name (e.g., "Standard PI Referral Agreement")
  3. Optionally add a description

Step 2: Write Your Agreement

Use the editor to write your fee sharing agreement. Include:

  • Introduction - Parties to the agreement
  • Recitals - Background and purpose
  • Terms - Fee percentage, payment terms, obligations
  • Conditions - When fees are payable
  • Signatures - Signature blocks for both parties

Step 3: Add Variables

Insert dynamic variables that will be replaced with actual data:

RE: {{lead_first_name}} {{lead_last_name}} ("Client")
Case Type: {{case_type}}

See Using Variables for the complete list.

Step 4: Configure Signature Blocks

{{referring_firm_name}}
Date: {{referring_firm_signature_date}}

RECEIVING FIRM:

______________________________
{{receiving_firm_signatory_name}}
{{receiving_firm_name}}
